This is the privacy notice of Sankofa to Nature. In this document, "we", "our", or "us" refer to Sankofa to Nature.

Sankofa to Nature, as an outdoor educational services provider, is required to hold information about the participants for health and safety purposes, specially of participating children, which is requested upon registering to a program, workshop or session by filling a form in person or sent through electronically means.
This includes personal information:
Full name (parent/guardian and children's)
next of kin information
children's date of birth
children's basic medical and health information including GP/surgery information.
By registering to a program, session or worksop you are consenting for us to process your information.
Children's information will be held during the length of the program, session or workshop registered for and storaged for a maximum of 5 years after.

Our website allows you to post information with a view to that information being read, copied, downloaded, or used by other people.

At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website PayPal or if paying by credit/debit card payment is taken via Stripe payment gateway. No payment details are kept on our website or servers. All payment data is fully secure and safe and processed through stripe who is fully PCI compliant. During your payment details of your name, address, email address and phone number are storage in our database.

When you contact us, whether by telephone, through our website or by e-mail, we collect the data you have given to us in order to reply with the information you need.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
